Casey Michael Carpenter, LMT
Casey Michael originally studied massage therapy in 1994 while working as a Personal Trainer at a Physical Therapy clinic in Kansas City, Kansas. Assisting several Physical Therapists, a Chiropractor and a Massage Therapist, he quickly found himself immersed in the healing arts at a young age. At the same time he was also interning in the Athletic Training Department and attending Johnson County Community College. He received his Associates degree in 1995 and then studied and acquired an EMT-National certification after that.
In 2007 he decided to get back into the passion for holistic health and attended the Massage School of Santa Monica, accumulating over 450 hours. Studies include Swedish relaxation and Swedish Deep Tissue, Pregnancy, Structural Integration, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi hot stones, Shiatsu, Reiki and Craniosacral Therapy. Outside studies and guidance from Master Doctors of Eastern technique include Neuromuscular Therapy, Chinese Soft Tissue Manipulation, Zheng Gu Tui Na and Myofascial Release as well as Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Herbology.
The Advanced Dynamic Manipulation Technique is a merge of all Eastern and Western modalities. It regulates the joints of the body, putting them back in balance as well and re-gaining subtle dynamic flow back to painful, congested areas of the body. Once that happens a proper range of motion will be established and then we can rehabilitate and strengthen the body. Then, along with specifically designed personal training sessions, a true recovery and improvement will happen.
Casey has completed his Master's in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture at Wongu University of Oriental Medicine in Las Vegas in 2021. His bachelors in journalism and audio engineering will also help him in telling the story of this medicine in a documentary series on athletes to normal people and their experience with natural medicine. He completely enjoys the challenge of studying medicine that’s 4000 years old and the most practiced on the planet today. “The study is improving my life as well as those around me, it’s a blessing.”
Having competed in several triathlons an in depth knowledge of personal training and rehabilitation techniques will be offered. Nutritional and herbal medicine guidance is also available for those interested.
Casey is currently looking for a new facility to call home and develop his personal training and bodywork and rehabilitation business.
